SEATTLE (AP) - In a story Feb. 12, The Associated Press reported that 70 percent of Plum Creek Timber Co. shareholders voted in favor of a merger with Weyerhaeuser. The story should have specified that the owners of 70 percent of Plum Creek’s outstanding shares voted on the merger and 99 percent of those shares voted in favor.
