SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - Police arrested eleven teens for fighting at a high school in west Shreveport.

Just before 1 p.m. Tuesday, police spokesman Cpl. Breck Scott told The Times (https://bit.ly/1R7Thhg) patrol officers were dispatched to Huntington High School in response to a reported fight. On campus, Scott says officers reported a large group of juveniles fighting outside of a class room.

He says officers were able to intervene and deescalate the situation.

Scott says nine juveniles were cited for disturbing the peace/fighting and two of the students were also written citations for trespassing. No one was injured during the melee.

Scott says a short time later there was another fight the same high school, where two more juveniles were cited for disturbing the peace/fighting and eventually released to a family member.
