SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - Police say a young man has been found dead in a Sacramento house with a large number of marijuana plants.

The Sacramento Bee reports ( ) that officers responding to a call found a man in his 20s on the floor. There was trauma to his upper body and he was declared dead at the scene.

According to a news release, officers checked the house for other victims and instead found a large, sophisticated marijuana growing operation.

Police are still investigating. No arrests have been made.

Officers do not believe the killing was random but do not know a specific motive.
