PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police say a man previously wanted for approximately 10 armed robberies is now wanted in connection with 14 such crimes in the Phoenix area in the past two weeks.

Police says 30-year-old Leo Orlando Arrendondo is regarded as armed and dangerous. They say Arredondo has displayed a gun while confronting store clerks and demanding money.

Police Sgt. James Rothschild says nobody has been hurt doing the robberies so far but that Arredondo’s behavior has been escalating.

Rothschild says the robberies in Phoenix, Glendale and Avondale.

A reward of up to $6,000 is offered for information leading to Arredondo’s arrest or capture.
