OXFORD, Miss. (AP) - Ole Miss’ baseball stadium will undergo renovations valued at $13 million.

In a news release Tuesday, the university said the project will include a new baseball performance center, a field level club, more box seating, a rooftop plaza along the first-base line and expansion/realignment of the left field terrace at Swayze Field.

It’s expected to be completed by the 2018 season.

The Clarion Ledger reports (https://on.thec-l.com/1Wq1mzs ) Ole Miss is in the process of choosing an architect for the project.

Details of the project will be released March 24 before the Rebels play host to South Carolina in a three-game Southeastern Conference series. The Rebels open their 2016 season at 4 p.m. Friday with a three-game home series against Florida International.
