CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) - Authorities have released images of what they believe a woman looked like before her body was found buried in a shallow grave near a Carson City walking trail last year.

Deputies had responded March 17, 2015 to a report of a body found near the Lone Mountain Cemetery. The body was found wrapped in a sleeping inside the grave site.

An autopsy revealed that the woman was between the ages of 42 and 71 and had reddish, blonde hair. She had been discovered wearing an adult diaper and bifocals.

Investigators say the woman was believed to have been in the ground for about one to 12 months before she was found.

Authorities are encouraging anyone with information about the case to come forward.
