LORAIN, Ohio (AP) - A toddler who went missing in northeast Ohio has been found.

Lana Lowther was last seen wearing pink footed pajamas when she disappeared around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday in Lorain, about 25 miles west of Cleveland.

The 2-year-old girl was found around 1:15 a.m. Thursday. Police tell WEWS-TV that a neighbor called 911 after finding Lowther crawling in the snow about half a mile from her home. Police say she has been hospitalized.

Police say the girl’s mother and siblings were home when she disappeared. Capt. Roger Watkins says the family is cooperating with investigators.

Police had to turn away volunteers after hundreds showed up to help with the search. A police helicopter and dozens of responders were called to aid in the search.
