PHOENIX (AP) - Gov. Doug Ducey is heading east to Washington, D.C. to attend meetings with other governors.

Ducey jets out Thursday for meetings with the Republican Governors Association and the National Governors Association.

The governors will meet to discuss key issues affecting their state and efforts to boost economic competitiveness. Ducey will participate in a roundtable Friday with other Republican governors focusing on creating an environment where businesses can thrive and create jobs.
