PLYMOUTH, Mass. (AP) - One person has died in a blaze at a waterfront home in Plymouth.

Crews responded to the Ellisville Road home at about 8 p.m. Wednesday.

The Plymouth district attorney’s office says one of the residents, 64-year-old Robert Drude, was found dead in the entryway of the home.

The cause remains under investigation, but authorities say the fire does not appear suspicious and no foul play is suspected.

The state Fire marshal’s office says it was the state’s eighth fire fatality in less than a month.
