ATLANTA (AP) - Police say a prison inmate and teenager have been charged in the 2015 shooting death of a man in an upscale suburban Atlanta neighborhood.

Gwinnett police Cpl. Michele Pihera local news media Thursday that 34-year-old Gordon Anthony Evans and 19-year-old Dossie Davon Mann are charged in the death of Jeffery Anderson on Nov. 24. Anderson’s body was found shot inside a home in Lawrenceville.

Pihera says Evans was in the Hancock State Prison in Sparta at the time of the shooting.

Evans’ attorney Lawrence Lewis says his client is accused of being the mastermind behind the execution of the 25-year-old Anderson.

Pihera says both are being held in the Gwinnett jail on multiple charges including malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, armed robbery, false improvement and participating in gang activity.
