OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - Thurston County authorities say they have arrested a man suspected of holding two people hostage following an hourslong standoff at a home in Grand Mound.

The Olympian reports (https://goo.gl/G8iZIf ) that the sheriff’s office says the suspect was taken into custody following the Wednesday night incident.

Sheriff John Snaza says the suspect, who has not yet been identified, was holding his girlfriend and daughter against their will inside the home.

Authorities say no injuries were reported.

The case remains under investigation.
