LEWISVILLE, Texas (AP) - A North Texas woman has been accused of running an unlicensed day care center after a baby she was watching was found dead in her home.

Denton County jail records show Druscilla Bowie of Lewisville was being held Thursday on a misdemeanor charge of operating a child care facility without a license.

Online records don’t list an attorney to speak for Bowie, who turned herself in Wednesday with bond set at $30,000.

Capt. Dan Rochelle says police were summoned to Bowie’s home Feb. 5 after a mother arrived to pick up her son and the child was dead.

Kayden Bolden would have turned a year old next month.

Rochelle says there’s no indication of foul play in Kayden’s death. Autopsy results on the manner and cause of death are pending.
