WASILLA, Alaska (AP) - Alaska State Troopers say a Wasilla man was wounded Wednesday in an accidental shooting.
Troopers took a call just after 8:30 a.m. that the man had been shot at a home.
Troopers say the man had manipulated a handgun while intoxicated and had shot himself in the leg.
He suffered injuries that were not life-threatening and was transported to a hospital.
Troopers forwarded the case to prosecutors for a possible weapons misconduct charge.
