SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say drug raids have turned up thousands of dollars in drugs and resulted in more than a dozen arrests in central New York.

Officials say authorities seized more than 300 bags of cocaine, packaging materials a loaded shotgun along with more than $15,000 in cash from a Syracuse home last week.

Another 143 bags of heroin and 92 bags of cocaine were found that same day at a neighboring home, along with $1,000.

Two days later, police seized more than 160 bags of cocaine, 62 bags of heroin and more than $1,400 from another Syracuse home.

It wasn’t clear if the 15 people charged are connected.

The raids were carried out by members of the Syracuse Police Department and the New York State Police.
