PARIS (AP) - Nice dropped points in the race for a top-three finish in the French league after drawing 0-0 away to Bordeaux on Friday.
Bordeaux lost the corresponding fixture 6-1 in Nice back in September but played much better this time, with striker Cheick Diabate having two chances in the first half and then shooting over from close range moments after the break.
Nice had midfielder Vincent Koziello and teenage striker Antony Ranieri booked but failed to muster much of a threat in attack.
Nice remains provisionally in third place - five points behind second-place Monaco - but will fall behind Saint-Etienne, Lyon and Nantes if they win their next games.
On Saturday, runaway leader Paris Saint-Germain hosts Reims as it looks to build on its 24-point lead over Monaco.
