NEW YORK (AP) - New York City police say a 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a series of robberies, including one in which a man was stabbed.

The New York Police Department says Rondell Smith was arrested Friday on robbery, weapons possession and other charges. It wasn’t immediately clear if he had an attorney who could comment.

Police say Smith was arrested after robbing a man on a train platform in Manhattan Friday morning. They say he is also accused of stabbing a 33-year-old after taking the man’s tablet and headphones Thursday on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

Police allege Smith also menaced a man with a gun, stole money from a 13-year-old boy after threatening him with a knife and said he’d shoot a man who wouldn’t give him money.
