BOWDOIN, Maine (AP) - Police say an 18-year-old woman was killed when her car crashed into a tree in Bowdoin, Maine.

The Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Department tells the Times Record (https://bit.ly/1SVOSRH) that Mira Graziano of Bowdoin was driving north on Route 201 when her car drifted off the road.

Bowdoin Fire Chief Tom Garrepy says the victim was extricated but paramedics were unable to save her. She was pronounced dead at the scene. A LifeFlight helicopter was summoned but was not utilized.
