BRUNSWICK, Maine (AP) - Police in Brunswick have arrested a 55-year-old Bath man in connection with a rash of “peeping tom” incidents reported around the area of Bowdoin College last fall.

The Times Record reports (https://bit.ly/1PSyOjz ) Stephen McIntire was charged with six counts of Class D violation of privacy and is being held at Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset on unrelated charges. It wasn’t immediately known if he had a lawyer; a jail supervisor said Tuesday it doesn’t keep that information.

Cmdr. Mark Waltz says about a dozen peeping tom complaints were reported to either police or university officials from late August through November.

Police say the new charges were based on “nonconsensual videos of adults inside their residences” that McIntire allegedly captured through windows.

Police say an incident in Bath last November that implicated McIntire helped Brunswick officers in their own investigation.
