CASA GRANDE, Ariz. (AP) - A Casa Grande-area man has been arrested following what’s described as a violent family fight that left three people with stab wounds.

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office says Timothy Ingraham was arrested and accused of assaulting his wife the night before the Sunday confrontation involving Ingraham, relatives of his wife and two other people.

Officials say they’re still trying to sort out what happened during the confrontation in which a neighbor and the wife’s father and brother were stabbed after they and others went to confront Ingraham about the alleged assault.

According to sheriff’s officials, Ingraham claimed self-defense.

Officials say the stab wounds were serious but not life-threatening.

Ingraham remains jailed. It could not be immediately determined whether he has an attorney who could comment on the allegations.
