PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) - Search crews have found a snowmobiler who went missing in the mountains near the southwestern Colorado town of Creede over the weekend.

The Pueblo Chieftain reports (https://goo.gl/NfzMnJ ) rescuers in a fixed-wing aircraft spotted 35-year-old Greg Van Akin waving his arms in a remote area southwest of Creede on Monday afternoon. The Mineral County man was in good enough condition to walk out of the area part of the way with the search team.

Akin became separated from a friend while snowmobiling in the Fern Creek area Sunday afternoon. Searchers set out Sunday night but were hindered by poor weather and deep snow.
