PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Police are seeking a car that hit a woman and two children who were crossing a street in south Philadelphia.

Authorities said the three were struck shortly before 1 p.m. Tuesday on Broad Street by a red sedan that fled the scene.

Police said the victims were taken to Hahnemann University Hospital, where they were later listed in stable condition.

Officials said the car, which was being driven by a female, was being sought.
