NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Jurors have convicted a Newark woman of reckless manslaughter in the fatal shooting of a bystander during Super Bowl Sunday in 2013.

Authorities say 21-year-old Amber Brooks was arguing with another woman who had accused Brooks of breaking into her apartment when Brooks opened fire.

Authorities say 49-year-old Michael Brown was simply walking on the street when he was shot and killed.

Brooks faces up to 10 years in prison when she’s sentenced in March.
