PHOENIX (AP) - Police say a man died in Phoenix after his vehicle collided with another in an accident overnight.

Authorities say the crash occurred late Friday in southwest Phoenix around 75th Avenue and Buckeye Road.

According to investigators, a pickup truck failed to follow a stop sign and crashed into another car.

The 30-year-old man driving the pickup was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A 31-year-old woman riding in the truck suffered minor injuries.

Police say the 23-year-old man driving the other car suffered serious injuries but is expected to recover.

Investigators say preliminary evidence indicates the driver of the pickup was drunk.

In addition, police say nobody involved in the accident was wearing a seat belt.
