GENESEO, N.Y. (AP) - A B-17 aircraft featured in the 1990 movie, “The Memphis Belle” is now on display at the National Warplane Museum in western New York.

The aircraft called The Movie Memphis Belle landed at the Geneseo museum after a four-year tour. Museum officials said Friday that they expect to have it in full operating condition in time for the coming flying season.

The movie “The Memphis Belle” told a fictionalized story of the 25th and last mission of the real Memphis Belle during World War II. It starred Matthew Modine, Tate Donovan, Harry Connick Jr. and John Lithgow.
