ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Albuquerque police and federal agents are searching for a fugitive facing a murder charge.

KOB-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2151Ph4) that police say George Bond fled into a post office Friday around 3:30 p.m. and caused employees and bystanders to shelter in place.

U.S. Marshals and police closed off the area around Broadway and Mountain but Bond escaped.

Police spokesman Simon Drobik says Bond is considered armed and dangerous.

Bond is wanted after he did not attend his arraignment.

He faces charges related to the July 2014 death of 21-year-old Charles Davlin, including first-degree murder and shooting from a vehicle with great bodily harm.

Authorities say Davlin, of Los Lunas, was killed after he and his friends got in an argument with another group at a gas station.
