TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - A man is facing a murder charge in Pima County after allegedly attacking an ex-girlfriend and another man.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department says 46-year-old Steven Leska forced his way into a Tucson area home around 9 a.m. Friday.

Deputies responding to reports of a burglary in progress found that a woman and 50-year-old James Kozar III had been attacked.

They say Kozar was taken to the hospital where he died.

The woman, Leska’s ex-girlfriend, was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Deputies located Leska on the property and arrested him.

He is being held on several charges including murder and domestic violence attempted murder.

Authorities did not disclose Kozar’s connection to the female victim or the manner of death.

It was not known if Leska had an attorney.
