MEQUON, Wis. (AP) - A Milwaukee man is charged in the drug overdose death of a freshman at Concordia University in Mequon.

Twenty-three-year-old Shuntaye Crenshaw was charged Thursday in Ozaukee County court with first-degree reckless homicide.

Investigators say Crenshaw sold heroin and other drugs to 18-year-old Caleb Ford of Waukesha and three of his friends, also students, in October.

Ford was found dead of an overdose in his dorm room the next morning.

WISN-TV (https://bit.ly/1SYrcNe ) reports police were first able to interview a co-worker of the victim last month, leading to Crenshaw.

Crenshaw remains in jail, with his next hearing set for Monday.

In a statement, Concordia University says it has a zero-tolerance policy for drug use, and the other people allegedly involved in the case are no longer students at the school.
