MOUNT SINAI, N.Y. (AP) - Police say a woman has been killed in a two-car crash on Long Island.

The accident happened at about 11 p.m. Friday in Mount Sinai.

Suffolk County police say the driver of a Toyota was trying to make a left turn when the Toyota hit a Hyundai.

A passenger in the Toyota, 39-year-old Ekaterina Blednykh, of Mount Sinai, was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Both drivers were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is continuing.
