ARGYLE, Wis. (AP) - The body of a missing fisherman has been recovered from a river in southwestern Wisconsin.

Forty-two-year-old Kevin Holverson, or rural Browntown, is one of two men who died in a boating accident on the Pecatonica River in Argyle.

Lafayette County sheriff’s officials say the two who died and another man were fishing Saturday in a boat when strong currents pulled it into the spillway just below a dam. All three were thrown from the boat. Two were pulled from the river. Forty-year-old Thomas Melland, of Monroe, died at a Madison hospital. The other man survived and was treated for hypothermia.

Holverson’s body was found just before noon Monday.
