SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) - Montgomery County Police say a pedestrian who was hit by a car in December has died of his injuries.

Officers said in a news release that 82-year-old Patrick Yip Yang of Silver Spring died Sunday at an area hospital, where he was taken after the crash on Dec. 18.

Investigators say Yang was trying to cross East Randolph Road at Serpentine Way when he was hit by a car driven by 57-year-old Edna Ogbonna of Silver Spring.
