TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Tucson police say the death of a man whose body was found in a desert area on the city’s southwest side is being investigated as a homicide.

Police Sgt. Kimberly Bay says the man’s body had signs of trauma. It was found early Monday morning near South Mission Road and West 36th Street.

The man’s identity hasn’t been released but he’s described as a man in his 50s.
