MONTAGUE, Mass. (AP) - Authorities have released the names of two people who died in a traffic crash in Franklin County.

The victims of the crash at about 5:15 a.m. Monday on Route 63 in Montague were identified Tuesday by the district attorney’s office as Anthony Darling and Brittany Wheeler. Both were 24 and both lived in the village of Millers Falls.

The northbound tractor trailer collided with a southbound sedan, killing the victims who were in the front seat of the car. The truck driver was unhurt.

The road was shut down during the investigation.

The crash remains under investigation.
