MATTAWAN, Mich. (AP) - A 10-mile funeral procession is planned for two of the six people slain in a weekend shooting rampage in southwestern Michigan.

MLive.com reports (https://bit.ly/1oIgsG4 ) that mourners will travel Saturday morning from Mattawan High School to Calvary Bible Church in Kalamazoo where services will be held for 53-year-old Richard Smith and his 17-year-old son, Tyler.

The newspaper reports that the procession will be led by Richard Smith’s motorcycle group.

Tyler Smith was a senior at Mattawan High School. He and his father were ambushed in a Kalamazoo auto dealership lot while looking at vehicles after-hours.

In all, eight people were shot Feb. 20 at three different locations. Four women were killed. Another woman and a 14-year-old girl were wounded.



Forty-five-year-old Jason Dalton is charged with murder and attempted murder.
