WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. (AP) - The Art Shanty Projects returns for one final weekend in White Bear Lake.

Warm temperatures forced the interactive exhibit to shut down last weekend and remove the shanties from the frozen surface of White Bear Lake.

But organizers are inviting the public to party on the shore and celebrate the shanties in White Bear Lake County Park on Saturday and Sunday.

The shanties will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. The festival is free.

Art Shanty Projects has organized a monthlong festival on a frozen lake surface for the last 10 years. This year’s program on White Bear Lake opened Feb. 6 and runs through Feb. 28.
