HAMMOND, La. (AP) - Zay Jackson had 21 points and dished out seven assists to help lead Southeastern Louisiana to 75-56 victory over Central Arkansas on Saturday.

JaMichael Hawkins nailed five from long range to total 15 points, Moses Greenwood had 10 and James Currington chipped in eight and grabbed 10 rebounds for Southeastern Louisiana (9-19, 7-8 Southland Conference) which has won four of its last five games.

The Lions and Central Arkansas (7-18, 6-9) are battling for the No. 5 seed in the conference tournament.

Southeastern Louisiana, which never trailed after taking a 22-19 lead at the 9:41 mark in the first half, finished the half with a 26-11 run to go up 48-30 at the break.

The Lions made 48 percent from the floor while limiting Central Arkansas to 19-of-57 shooting.

Jordan Howard led Central Arkansas with 11 points, Mathieu Kamba added 10 and Justin Foreman and Jake Zuilhof chipped in nine apiece.
