COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - A couple from Parker has died and a Colorado Springs man has been injured after a car struck two motorcycles on Highway 83 near Franktown.

The Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/1OGKajh ) that state troopers say 58-year-old Brian Lehner and his passenger, 56-year-old Jaquie Lehner, died after being thrown from their motorcycle in the Saturday crash. A 28-year-old motorcyclist, Joseph Bartoletti, was also hit and is recovering from minor injuries.

According to the Colorado State Patrol, a car driven by Athina Munoz crossed the highway’s center line and hit the two motorcycles.

The 27-year-old woman from Parker has been arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and vehicular homicide. She remains held on $50,000 bail.
