SYDNEY (AP) - Adelaide United extended its unbeaten streak to 13 matches and moved into second place in the A-League with a 3-0 win over the Brisbane Roar.

Attacker Bruce Kamau, a week after his 90th-minute goal gave Adelaide a win against Melbourne Victory, scored in the opening half against the Roar in Adelaide.

Kamau had a key role in Adelaide’s second goal by Bruce Djite, and substitute Pablo Sanchez added another.

The win moved Adelaide to within two points of league-leading Western Sydney.

David Carney scored for Sydney FC to draw with Victory 1-1. Kosta Barbarouses put the home side up a minute into the second half.

On Sunday, Steven Ugarkovic’s 57th minute goal gave the Newcastle Jets a 1-0 away win over the Central Coast Mariners.
