FRANKFORT, KY. (AP) - Students from Bellarmine University have won a video contest that draws attention to a network of rape crisis centers in Kentucky.

Kentucky Attorney General Andy Beshear and the Kentucky Association of Sexual Assault Programs announced the winners Sunday of this year’s Voice of Hope competition.

The contest invited college students to submit a video that can be used on campuses to promote the rape crisis hotline, 800-656-HOPE.

Students from Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College finished second, while Berea College finished third.

The contest awarded $1,000 for first place, $750 for second place and $500 for third place.
