BOISE, Idaho (AP) - A Boise woman has pleaded guilty for her role in a crash that seriously injured a 5-year-old boy last year.

The Idaho Statesman reports (https://goo.gl/4yAtGQ ) 41-year-old Scholastique Twagirayesu pleaded guilty to inattentive driving on Friday. She was sentenced to a year of probation and must complete 150 hours of community service and a driving course.

Court documents show a 90-day jail sentence was suspended.

Max Wyatt was hospitalized for months after being struck by a van while riding his bicycle on Sept. 23.
