AJACCIO, France (AP) - Gazelec Ajaccio’s home game against Marseille in the French league on Sunday has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch following two days of heavy rainfall in the Corsica region.

Club officials from both sides met with the referee on Sunday morning to inspect the pitch at the Ange Casanova before deciding it was not fit to play on, with the grass particularly drenched around the center circle.

A new date for the match has not yet been set.
