WASHINGTON (AP) - Officials say thousands of people are without power in Prince George’s County.

WRC-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1RxsviN ) about 7,000 customers between the Capital Beltway and U.S. Route 301 in the county are without power Sunday morning.

Pepco spokesman Bob Hainey says there is a problem with a sub-station that serves the Upper Marlboro area. Crews are on site to assess the damage.

Hainey says it’s unknown how long repairs will take at this time.
