MOUNT HOLLY, N.C. (AP) - North Carolina police are looking for a gunman after a man was shot to death at a party near Mount Holly.

Multiple media organizations reported the male victim died Sunday after being taken to a hospital by what police believe were other party-goers.

Gaston County police say the man who was between 20 and 30 years old was shot at about 6:30 a.m. Sunday. The victim has not been identified and officials have not said what led to the shooting.

Neighbors say they called authorities to complain about the noise from the party, but say police didn’t show up until there was a shooting.
