LEVERKUSEN, Germany (AP) - Bayer Leverkusen says midfielder Kevin Kampl has a fracture in his left fibula after being injured in the Feb. 21 defeat to Borussia Dortmund.

The Bundesliga club did not say how long it expected Kampl to be sidelined.

Doctors first found out Kampl had sustained a torn muscle and an ankle edema but later tests determined the fracture as well.

Leverkusen is sixth in the Bundesliga.
