DICKERSON RUN, Pa. (AP) - A coroner has released the name of a man who died after falling at a popular rock climbing site in southwestern Pennsylvania.

The Fayette County coroner says 56-year-old Calvin Swoager Jr. died Sunday afternoon at Coll’s Cove in Dunbar Township.

Emergency around 2:20 p.m. Sunday after the man fell between 40 and 60 feet.

Officials say the victim was climbing in a group and rappelling when he fell. It’s unclear what caused the fall.

An autopsy, including toxicology tests, will be performed Monday.

The coroner is treating the case as a trauma death from rock climbing barring any evidence to the contrary.

A specific hometown for Swoager wasn’t immediately available.
