PRESCOTT, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a Phoenix man could be facing manslaughter, DUI and other charges in the death of his wife in a 2014 car crash near Camp Verde.

Yavapai County Sheriff’s officials say William Jordan was arrested last week in Snowflake on a warrant for unrelated charges.

They say 30-year-old Stephanie Steel was killed in a rollover accident on Feb. 8, 2014.

Sheriff’s deputies say they found open beer cans in and around the SUV at the crash site.

The then 36-year-old Jordan insisted his wife was driving, but investigators say Jordan’s blood-alcohol level was measured at .134 percent after the crash.

They say Jordan now has admitted to driving the SUV that night after drinking several beers and smoking marijuana.

Sheriff’s officials say Jordan is expected to face charges soon.
