PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police say a 24-year-old man is sought in the killing of his 62-year-old father.

Police said Wynton Elrod is wanted in the homicide of Craig Elrod.

Police Sgt. Trent Crump says another son returned home Sunday after being out of state for over a week and found his father’s body in a bathroom with trauma to his upper body.

Crump says Wynton Elrod previously had been evicted from the home for drug abuse but was there when his brother returned.

According to Crump, Wynton Elrod fled in his father’s car while the brother was looking for their father.

The car is described as a two-door 2015 orange Fiat 500 with Arizona license plate BMN2693.

Wynton Elrod is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-10 and 150 pounds.
