PITTSBURGH (AP) - An 18-year-old Pittsburgh man with severe autism has been found about 18 hours after he went missing.

Searchers found Vance Meinhart-McBurney at the residence of someone who knows him about 6 a.m. Monday.

He was reported missing before 1 p.m. Sunday.

Police began searching Frick Park because the missing man was known to visit the Nine Mile Run and Duck Hollow areas of the park.

Residents had been asked to search their garages and vehicles for the man, in case he took refuge for warmth overnight.

Police were concerned for his welfare, saying he has the mental capacity of a 6-year-old.
