CHERRY HILL, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say a shooting outside a southern New Jersey motel has left a Camden teenager dead and a 20-year-old man injured.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the parking lot near the entrance of the Inn of the Dove in Cherry Hill.

Investigators say 17-year-old Jadyre Gordon and a Willingboro man were shot inside a vehicle following an altercation at a party in one of the motel’s rooms and taken to a hospital in a private vehicle.

Gordon was pronounced dead about an hour later. The second victim was treated and later released.

No arrests have been made.
