HALF MOON BAY, Calif. (AP) - Rescue crews in a helicopter and two lifeboats are searching for a man who witnesses say was swept away by hide tides hitting a beach in Half Moon Bay.

San Francisco television stations KGO reports (https://abc7ne.ws/1QibIQe) rescue crews are looking for a surfer who went missing near Roosevelt Beach.

The U.S. Coast Guard says multiple reports were received Monday afternoon saying a man was seen going under the surf somewhere along Half Moon Bay’s coast.
