BOSTON (AP) - Authorities say a suspect in the shooting death of a Roxbury teenager is being held without bail.

Seventeen-year-old Tsunami Ortiz was arraigned Monday on a murder charge in the Dec. 18 slaying of 17-year-old D’Andre King-Settles.

Ortiz is also charged with armed assault with intent to murder and related charges for allegedly shooting at two other people.

Prosecutors allege that Ortiz shot King-Settles after he and two friends left a building on Annunciation Road. Police found King-Settles suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Prosecutors say surveillance footage from inside the building shows Ortiz and another man leaving the building shortly after King-Settles and his friends.

Ortiz is due back in court March 28.

A message left for Ortiz’s attorney wasn’t immediately returned.
